But wait, what is this?
A silent nocturne for my slumber in the night

This is my strife
My way of life
My life nocturnal

What I wouldn't give to see that star
I see them every night but not so close and yet so far
It's the only one, Celestia's sun
What I wouldn't give to feel its warmth
To escape my lifelong storm

To bask in its shining rays
To exist during the day
I want to fly in the sky's light
It should be my lifelong right
But I'm stuck here in the night
And it will surely drive me mad before I die

And so I'll sit here and endure my life nocturnal
